Confirmation

Sacraments are a vital part of our Catholic faith. They are external signs that make real to us the invisible reality of God's grace.

Confirmation

Confirmation is offered to youth who are currently enrolled in at least the 10th grade and at least 15 years old. Youth must also be concurrently enrolled in the High School YOA program or enrolled at Catholic High School.

What is the Sacrament of Confirmation?

The Sacrament of Confirmation is a sacrament of initiation for the purpose of carrying out Jesus’s mission to the world through the power of the Holy Spirit. “By the Sacrament of Confirmation, [the baptized] are more perfectly bound to the Church and are enriched with a special strength of the Holy Spirit. Hence they are, as true witnesses of Christ, more strictly obliged to spread and defend the faith by word and deed” (Lumen Gentium 11).

To be confirmed is a big decision and not one to be taken lightly. The preparation process helps the youth make an informed decision.

Registration for the 2024/2025 school year is open!
