Choir: Rehearsal is on Thursday evenings starting at 7:00PM in the chapel.

  *For the months of July & August, we go on a modified schedule.

Audition Process

Instruments

Any new instrumentalists must audition with Diane. The audition is not a guarantee to play, as the music is High School Intermediate to Difficult level. Instrumentalists must be able to play in all key signatures, know all note values, and be able to count in a variety of time signatures. Audition times can be set on weekends after the Sunday liturgy. You need to bring a prepared piece with sheet music and you may be asked to sight-read something.

Adult Choir: New members are welcome, ages High School and above. Choir members are expected to rotate Masses and may be asked to attend specific Masses for holidays, celebrations or other events. Interesting in being a Cantor? Contact Diane.


Youth Choirs: canceled until further notice


Ascension Children's Choir for 3rd - 5th grades

Youth Choir of Ascension (YCOA) for 6th - 12th grades

Each choir will sing for one fall Mass, one Christmas Mass, and one spring Mass (dates and times TBA)

Special Events & Concerts

Our Adult Choir and Instrumentalists are invited to participate in seasonal concerts and events as scheduled by the Choir Director. Additional rehearsals may be added and will be required for participation.
